This long weekend -

Could be her last….

An exclusive invitation to a luxurious island resort, should be the holiday of a lifetime for Emma. But beneath the lavish settings and indulgent amenities, lies a sinister plot waiting to be uncovered.

Emma's boss, Rebecca, gifted her the ticket to Hotel Horizen's grand opening, but Emma has her own agenda - to write a tell-all article about the rich and famous guests.

Little did she know, this weekend would become a nightmare she never could have imagined. As she delves deeper into the secrets of the elite, Emma realises she may have bitten off more than she can chew.

Will she uncover the truth and make her mark as a journalist, or will she become the next victim in this twisted game of power and deception?

If you enjoyed "The Guest List" by Lucy Foley or “One by One” by Ruth Ware, you won't want to miss this gripping thriller.

Working with Hannah van der Westhuysen has been wonderful.

Not only are they a talented voice actor but they’re also a pleasure to work with. We’ve both been learning together as we go, and I couldn’t be happier with the take they’ve brought to Emma and her story.

Some of the outtakes from this audiobook have made me laugh out loud, which as an indie author is a welcome distraction from the never-ending to-do list.

I thoroughly recommend reaching out to Hannah if you have an audiobook production to complete - you won’t regret it. You can find all of their details here:

  • This book was so good! I loved the variety of interesting celebrity characters, from heartthrob actor, to sleazy politician, and everyone in between. Then we have Emily, the non-celebrity, the odd one out, who is on this trip because her boss was too busy to take it herself. Secrets start getting exposed and no one knows who they can trust.

  • I really enjoyed this book- reminiscent of Christie’s trapped in place mysteries! I was engaged from page one, and found myself eagerly reading every day after coming home from work! Thought I had it figured out, then the twist at the end!!!

  • I was lucky to get a chance to do an advanced reading of this book and it did not disappoint! Lots of good twists and one of those books where you think you have it figured out…but you don’t. Once you start you won’t want to put it down.

  • I have to say that once I started reading it, I was not able to put it down. What you think you know, or may have guessed about what is occurring is in fact, very wrong. The plot from the beginning draws you in and it gives you Agatha Christie vibes with how the characters are introduced. You are given a summary of who they are in the beginning, but their actual truths are revealed throughout the plot.
